Urology

Medical practice and general practitioner´s office

Short description
At the Centre for Urology, we treat all urological diseases.
These do by no means only concern men, but affect both sexes. The specialties of our team members put us in a position to offer you world-class services and expertise covering the entire field of urology: State-of-the-art operating theatres, a dedicated intensive care unit and our experienced care staff form our basis of competent and safe surgical treatment for you. However, not all urological conditions need to be treated with a scalpel, since minimally invasive measures alone have proven to be efficient in many cases. We will also be glad to help, if you need a second opinion in the process of making a treatment decision. Our membership in national and international urological panels furthermore makes it possible for us to refer you to additional specialists for your individual problem – to find the ideal solution in the interest of your health and improved quality-of-life.

Why come to us
We see you as an individual!
In the case of prostate cancer, for instance: The complete removal of the prostate is often chosen as a treatment option for prostate cancer. Smaller and less aggressive tumours do, however, also allow for less invasive procedures. In these cases, we alternatively use radiotherapy (brachytherapy) for the organ requiring treatment or local heating (HIFU). The prostate does not have to be removed and important functions such as continence and potency are preserved.
